About
Michelle Hardy, Author
overthinking and self-doubt, guiding them back to what they already possess: their voice, their story, and their right to tell it. Her philosophy is simple but powerful—book writing isn’t hard; it’s the ego that stands in the way of what people are naturally entitled to: a book. With a natural ease for both writing and teaching, Michelle helps others understand the structure of book writing in a way that feels accessible and achievable. She empowers individuals to write from an authentic place, encouraging truth over perfection and clarity over performance. Whether through her own books or her work as a consultant, Michelle’s mission is to help people step fully into their voice, trust what comes naturally, and finally write the book that has been waiting within them.
Michelle Hardy is a writer, educator, and book writing consultant who has spent over four decades developing her voice and helping others find theirs. Writing since the age of ten, she brings more than 48 years of lived experience to her work, with a body of writing that spans multiple genres including children’s books, nonfiction, historical nonfiction, and poetry. Her approach is grounded in emotional courage, authenticity, and a deep belief that writing is not meant to be complicated—it is meant to be honest. Known for her candid, direct, and truth-telling style, Michelle teaches that the real barrier to writing a book is not skill, but ego. She challenges aspiring writers to move beyond
